I spend most of my time editing by my window desk in my Chinatown loft. Here, I have a bird's eye view of Maunakea Street. The people and activity that happens outside my window fascinate me and keep me entertained in between editing sessions. It's also a great training tool for developing your photographic eye. With the right training, anything can become a cinematic moment. Here, a paramedic and fireman team respond to an emergency call. The person wound up being okay, but the tension and drama I was able to create not only in my imagination, but in my images, is a good example of how mini movies happen around us every day -- you just need to notice them.
